The Casino Night: Senior Farewell

Nenjodu Kalanthidu and Casino Night, the senior farewell ceremony, was organised on 20 May

2026 to honour the outgoing 2020 batch and celebrate their journey through the institution.

Organised by the 2022 batch, the event was held in the Main Auditorium and brought together

nearly 250 attendees and 10 faculty members.

The programme began with an inaugural address by the Principal, Dr. T. M. Subbarao. Dance and

music performances were the highlights of the evening, entertaining the audience throughout

the programme. Videos, memes, and a montage of the batch were screened, bringing back

memories from their years in the institution.

The jewel in the crown of the evening was the Best CRRI Awards, recognising the achievements

and contributions of members of the outgoing batch. Speeches were delivered by the President

and General Secretary of the 2020 batch, who reflected on their time in college and thanked

those who had been part of their journey.

The farewell brought together students and faculty members in celebrating the accomplishments

of the outgoingbatch. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the

President of the 2022 batch. Refreshments and dinner were arranged for all attendees.

Lasting until 8:30 p.m., the event was a memorable send-off to the outgoing batch, marking the

end of their undergraduate years and the beginning of a new chapter.
